1link Auction+ is an iPad app that forms part of the 1link product portfolio of automotive management tools. The app enables auctioneers to administer and monitor live auctions.

At the request of Volkswagen and a number of auction houses, I was asked to get involved with the ideation process of building an auction management tool. I worked closely with internal stakeholders and clients to hone core functionality, architect the product and build detailed user journeys. I was subsequently tasked with responsibility for the entire product design.

Following the first release’s success, some years later I was put in charge of its redesign to bring it in line with anti-skeuomorphic design trends. This enabled me to refine the app with a fuss-free interface that proved popular amongst users.
