Paycor operates a suite of industry-leading HR platforms, serving over 30,000 organizations in the US.
As part of the development of Paycor’s new employee onboarding tool, I was asked to provide architecting advice and designs.
This project was as much an exercise in diplomacy as interaction design – Paycor is a complex beast with many internal stakeholders and strict design parameters. Despite this, through regular interaction with many of Paycor’s management team, I was granted some flexibility to enhance the existing design scheme and modernize the platform’s existing structure.
Using the new onboarding platform as bastion of visual and structural best practices, I was able to make significant improvements to the UI and define efficient process flows. My focus on adaptation based on the results of research, has lead to a modern, intuitive experience that has influenced the direction of Paycor’s wider portfolio of online products.
